Precis
This blog is for the purpose of explaining the American legal system. It will be a work in progress for some time, since it is intended to eventually cover all aspects from a description of what the legal education is and what lawyers do, to the appellate process, points of law, what ordinary people should expect in dealing with the system and with lawyers, and proposed changes in the system.
The posts will not necessarily appear on the blog in the order that they would appear in a finished book, but will appear as I am inspired to write about some aspect of the law. There will be some comments on current events relating to the law, and some anecdotes of actual cases that have occurred during the practice of law, as well as articles concerning the structure and processes of the legal system.
The blog is intended to become comprehensive over time, but will be sporatic for a while.
